Are your students considering a career in beauty or dermal therapy? The Australian Academy of Beauty, Dermal & Laser offers a FREE introductory course designed for school students in Year 10, 11 or 12. This course provides a hands-on introduction to beauty, laser, and dermal therapies and is a great way to help your students explore career options.
Course Overview
What’s Included in the Course
This 6-week course is offered one evening a week and includes the following:
• Introductory makeup skills for personal use
• Eyelash and eyebrow treatments including lash lifting
• Skin type understanding and performing professional cleansing and exfoliation
• Introduction to laser hair removal, IPL skin rejuvenation, and skin needling
• Information on career pathways, government funding options, and more
At the end of each session, students will receive the Introduction to Beauty Therapy, Laser, and Dermal Therapies participation certificate from the Academy.
There are no formal assessments in this course, making it highly interactive and fun for the students.
How to Register
A $100 deposit is required for registration, which will be refunded to the student after completing each of the six sessions. This ensures we only accept students who are genuinely interested in pursuing a career in beauty and laser therapies.
Join Information Evenings
We also offer regular information evenings at each of our campuses approximately every two weeks. These sessions provide insight into our courses, career options, and the beauty industry. We encourage students, parents, and teachers to attend.
