A Diploma of Beauty Therapy opens pathways to an exceptional range of career opportunities, including beauty therapy roles in luxury day spas and both in Australia and overseas, education and training, social media, makeup, including film makeup artists, fashion, and importantly business ownership. Many Graduates also undertake additional study in laser and dermal therapies to progress into specialised roles in advanced dermal and laser clinics, or further study pathways such as cosmetic nursing, ensuring long-term career flexibility and growth within a rapidly evolving industry.
Beauty therapy is very practically based. It cannot be taught solely online.
For this reason, distance students also must be prepared to:
- Attend trainer-led theory lessons once a week via Google Meet
- Have a one-on-one Google Meet each fortnight with their trainer
- Attend the 4 practical workshops throughout the year
- Attend our student clinic for practice on clients after week 12
The Academy has a pathway with Western Sydney University where graduates with SHB50121 Diploma of Beauty Therapy to facilitate access and credit transfer into Western Sydney University degrees.
