The Beauty Business Course, a combination of SHB5021 The Diploma of Beauty Therapy and SHB50216 the Diploma of Salon Management is the ultimate qualification to equip you for the very best jobs in the industry. This dual qualification opens many doors across this growing industry including not only working in top spas’ but also in travel,  fashion, and media and provides essential skills for those wishing to open their own business or manage a business.

There is a huge shortage of beauty therapists in Australia, and salon owners are particularly looking for therapists who are able to move into supervisor and manager positions.

We have worked with industry and developed this world-class curriculum, combining beauty therapy with essential business expertise to equip students to run a successful business. You will be trained by Australia’s leading beauty therapy educators each with a passion for nurturing each and every student, elevating their self-esteem and giving them skills to make a difference in not only their own life but the lives of others. Graduating with SHB50121 The Diploma of Beauty Therapy and SHB50216 the Diploma of Salon Management provide the practical skills to be not only an amazing therapist but also have important business knowledge including managing staff, setting goals, customer relations, W.H.S responsibilities to equip you for management positions in your own salon or leading spas.

Both  Diplomas are completed simultaneously and completed within 46 weeks. Evening students complete every second Wednesday evening with the specialist Salon Management trainer.  The practical aspects of salon management, leading staff etc, are completed in our student clinic in combination with normal beauty tasks.
The courses that make up the “Business of Beauty” course are approved for VET Student Loans for the full cost of the course.

The Australian Academy of Beauty Dermal and Laser  is a private registered training organisation RTO 90094  with over 43 years  experience and offers an alternative to studying beauty therapy courses at TAFE.

Our classes are small to ensure the nurturing and support of each individual student and our first class facilities provide a fully commercial salon and clinic, with private cubicles to ensure all students are workplace ready on graduation.

Vet Student Loans are available to qualifying students for SHB50121 Diploma of Beauty Therapy and SHB50216 Diploma of Salon Management

Please Note: VET Student Loans will not be approved for students who do not meet eligibility requirements. A VET student loan gives rise to a HELP debt that continues to be a debt to the Commonwealth until it is repaid.
