Careers Teachers, do you have students interested in a career as a beauty or dermal therapist?
Our introduction to Beauty Laser and Dermal Therapies is a FREE introductory course for school students in year 10, 11 or 12, seriously considering a career as a beauty therapist.
This course satisfies the work experience requirements at many schools and we have found it extremely beneficial for students as they have our trainers full attention during their time with us.
Run over 6 weeks one evening a week, the introductory course covers:
- Introductory makeup skills for self
- Eyelash and eyebrows treatments and lash lifting
- Understanding your skin type and how to perform a professional cleanse and exfoliation
- Introduction to laser hair removal, IPL skin rejuvenation and Skin needling (demonstrations only)
- Information on course, career options, government funding, etc. ( parents are welcome to come to this evening)
On completion of each of the 6 weeks students will receive The Academy’s Introduction to Beauty Therapy Laser and Dermal Therapies participation certificate.
There are no assessments in this course. It is highly interactive, and a lot of fun for students.
To register for this course we require a deposit of $100. This will be returned to students after successful completion of each of the 6 evenings.
This ensures bookings are only made by those genuinely interested in a beauty and laser career.
This 6 week course is available at Bella Vista, North Strathfield, Rockdale and Sydney City
