Student reads all information on website, student handbook and prospectus and VET student loan booklet and submits online enrolment form.
Enrolment director contacts student to undertake initial assessment of training needs
Student is advised they must attend an information session to proceed with enrolment
Students receives dates of the next Information Session. Students may bring a family member or friend to this evening,
Students attend an Information Session to view facilities, and meet senior management and have any questions answered
Senior management personally discusses all aspects of the course to ensure prospective students have all relevant information.
Once students have received all information and viewed facilities they may enrol by providing:
Enrolment form and training agreement
USI number.
Proof of Australian citizenship (copy of citizenship papers if not born in Australia, passport, birth certificate).
Australian Year 12, AQTF Certificate IV or higher of successful LLN and Digital skills testing
Student is to fulfill all entry criteria listed under Entry procedure in prospectus and on website.
Student receives an email of “offer of place” depending on results of one on one interview with Senior Management. Student must show commitment to the course to be considered,.
Student confirms receipt of offer of place email.
Student is advised of interview date.
Interview with Senior Management where Senior Management ascertains students ability to undertake required studies. If student doesn’t have Australian year 12 or have a AQF certificate IV qualification or higher, this will include LLN testing. A support person such as a friend or family member is most welcome to attend.
Discuss special needs, check uniform sizing, photograph for student ID card. Senior Management again confirms student has read and understood Handbook, Prospectus and VET student loan information. Student is able to ask questions for clarification on all aspects of course. A check list is signed by both student and senior management ensuring student is clear on all aspects of course.
Prospective students under 18 years of age are asked to bring a parent or guardian to the interview, and they also sign the checklist to acknowledge everything has been explained to them
Training agreement and declaration of understanding is signed by Student and parent if under 18 years of age
After a successful enrolment interview a Confirmation of enrolment letter is emailed to student.
The Academy will then send the Department of Education your information and The Department will send you information on how to apply for your VET student loan.
Student checks eligibility for loan then applies online using password sent by Department of education.
Student receives Vet Student loan fee notice and Vet student loan Statement of Covered Fees (if accessing vet student Loans)
Student receives user name and password for learner portal.
Student attends orientation session and meets Trainer.
