Apprentice Training

From 2009 employers will be able to choose The Australian Academy of Beauty and Spa Therapy for their Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy SIB40110. This is government funded with a small compulsory fee, the same as Tafe. Our training program has been especially structured with salon owners in mind. First units covered will be manicures and pedicures, lash and brow treatments followed by body massage and facials.

Face to face teaching will be completed one day a week for a year.

The classes are available at Bella Vista, North Strathfield and Chatswood.

Apprentices can also study their Certificate IV by distance learning which now means apprentices in the country areas can now study with us.

You complete and submit the on line enrolment form and attend an interview with the Principal, where you will be assessed on grooming, and enthusiasm and attitude for consideration for a place in our training program. If successful, the compulsory fee equivalent to TAFE is payable.
